Monday night blog by Margaret and Alex

We all arrived to the airport this morning and boarded the plane. The ride was pretty uneventful. Ginger ale was the popular choice amongst the passengers. After arriving, we met with this year’s instructors, Brooke (from Brooklyn) and Juan (from Guatemala). They seem great and are very experienced.  We settled in to our cabins here at the Education Center where we will be spending tonight before going to Mayan Center Village tomorrow. We hosted an impromptu soccer match between the boys. We reviewed the WLS curriculum for this year and outlined our trip.

Alex and I are both returning student ambassadors of the WLS program. We are excited to be back and even though the places and curriculum will be the same, the experiences and memories will not (We definitely high-fived each other for that piece of literary genius). We are both looking forward to expanding on what we learned last year and hopefully putting to use some of the skills we acquired to help out the rookies. We are looking forward to a great trip. Pictures will be coming soon.

P.S. Morgan is the new Tyler

I hope your trip goes well! I'll be checking from time to time to see if you're having fun (and remembering the sunscreen).
